My name is Spring. I live in Melbourne, Australia, with my husband and our two boys Skye and Thomas. Skye is 13 and Thomas is 10.
My blog is largely based on my children’s real synaesthetic experiences. Some come from my own or other family members’ experiences.
I first observed my children’s synaesthesia when they were very young. I thought it was their ways of describing things like Friday was black, number 2 was sweet and their teeth became savory when they used a word magic.
They enjoy their synaesthetic experiences, so do I. Fortunately, we are able to share this without worrying about being laughed at. Some synaesthetes have experienced the loneliness throughout their childhood or even adulthood after finding out nobody around them has synaesthesia.
Regardless what experience each individual has, I hope this blog will provide some insight of a different inner world that you may find intriguing.
